Te manu rongo
E rere, e rere
E rere ra
Ki hea, ki hea
Ki te maunga tapu
Te waahi tapu O te Kororia
Ki te kupu o te manu rongo
Ko tona rere e
Kaore e tairoa
Ka whakarere tonu atu aa koe
Ka ngaro e
Me whai mai ra i te manu rongo
I tona kupu
Te manu rongo
The bird of peace
That flys about
To the sacred mountain
To the sacred place Of Glory
Listen To the words of the bird of peace
Watch, see The bird's flight to where it goes.
Do not linger Or you'll be left behind
Or you'll be lost
Follow the bird of peace and its words

O God, for the sake of Thy love, will I leave everything and wander in the deserts and over the mountains, calling out the appearance of Thy kingdom and proclaiming into every ear the tidings of Thy call.
O God! I am prepared to meet all calamities in Thy way and desire every trouble for Thy sake with all my heart and soul, but keep me, O God, in Thy hour of test. Thou knowest that I have left every thought and occupation save Thy mention and praise and that I ask nothing save a strengthening power, which shall enable me to devote my life, my mind, my heart, my soul, and my spirit unto Thee, O God.
O Lord of the worlds! To teach is to learn, to learn is to work, to work is to serve, to serve is to love, to love is to sacrifice, to sacrifice is to die, to die is to live, to live is to strive, to strive is to rise above all earthly limitations and enter the eternal realms."

O Varqa' Thou shouldst recite three times in his right ear;
"I have come by God's command, have been made manifest for His remembrance and have been created for the service of Him Who is the Almighty, the Well-Beloved."

This is a place that I have been compiling resources as I develop/find them - as a a children's class teacher, as a parent as an individual who loves to study the history and teachings of the Baha'i Faith. Postings and opportunities are erratic as a working mother of two, but it is something that brings me great joy!
